  3. I'm using a free personal license. I just installed Plastic SCM in a Ubuntu 14.04. I'm trying to create a new admin user (the only one I am allowed to create), I just added him with umtool, but I need a tool to give him admin rights. When I try to open umtoolgui via xming it show me this error: gtkplastic and the rest of the gui tools worked ok

    Plastic Client Crash

Hello, We seem to be able to consistently crash the Plastic Client (at least on the Windows build) with the following steps: 1. Have server archive a file in the repo 2. Do *NOT* add an ExternalConf file to the sever 3. This causes the client sync to display a pop-up to provide the archive file locally 4. Click the "..." button to attempt to browse to a file 5. The client hangs after clicking "...", we have to kill the process We are able to do this with at least the builds of PlasticSCM-5.4.16.688 PlasticSCM-5.4.16.686 Thanks!
  5. I'm using the latest Semanticmerge (1.0.76.0) on OSX. Whenever I diff a file in PlasticSCM, it opens up Semanticmerge and asks me to input my license. Once I enter my license and click "Get License", it takes about a second then quits with the message "semanticmerge quit unexpctedly". I tried multiple times, re-installed Semantic merge and still it crashes even after clicking "Get Trial" button. I've purchased a license a while ago and never really got it fully set up until now, except for this issue. =/ Here's the full crash report: http://pastebin.com/DAzD5YEM Also, here are the contents of "semantic.log.txt" located in "~/.semanticmerge": http://pastebin.com/XjNy7xd0
  6. If I just start the SemanticMerge application, then hit "cancel" on the launch screen, it puts the app into a nonresponsive state. This is on Mac OS X 10.8.5. (Sorry, I tried to attach the hang log, but the forum doesn't allow it.)
  7. I have one reproducible crash here. I have imported our repository with very long history (almost ten years of development). When I set the date filter in a branch explorer to the full range, the Plastic client crashes. There is an unhandled StackOverflowException in libplastic.dll. I can sent you a minidump (without heap at least), if it helps.

    Crash in Visual Studio

View > Plastic SCM > Show workspace working info In a Workspace working info panel, click on Change current workspace. Click Cancel => Visual Studio crashes Plastic SCM 4.1.10.320 - Santiago Visual Studio 2010
  9. I have 2 vs.Net instances running at the same time, as well as PlasticSVM gui. I am also using the plugin in Vs.Net and my solutions are bound to source control My codebase looks like this: proj1/ proj2/ proj3/ A.sln B.sln My dependencies are: A=> proj1,2 B=> proj1,3 When building or just saving a file, vs.Net will just hang about 10% of the time (race condition?). The hanged instance has to be restarted, but the other one is just fine. I regularly worked with up to 10 vs.net running at the same time using svn and ankh (thank Woz for hexacores and SSDs) as I need to simulate a whole environment on my workstations. Do you have any ideas? I will have to unbind all my solutions from VS.net's source control and only rely on the plastic UI
  10. Plastic Men, I recently was experimenting with attributes and created one called "Branch Status" and gave it a value. I created a conditional format rule in the Branch Explorer and it appeared to work as it highlighted the branch with the attribute applied to it. I just deleted the attribute this morning and had to do a restart. I've been attempting to open Plastic.exe but it keeps crashing on me... I even installed the latest version it it also is crashing. Here is the debug info: Codice.CM.Common.CmException was unhandled Message=The specified attribute realization can't be found. Source=libplastic KeyMessage=ATTR_NOT_FOUND StackTrace: at np.h() at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.runTryCode(Object userData) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.RuntimeHelpers.ExecuteCodeWithGuaranteedCleanup(TryCode code, CleanupCode backoutCode, Object userData) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart() InnerException: I also created a Plastic.dmp file so I'm not sure if you can use it or not. Its 300MB so, I can't upload it here. Suggestions?
  11. Plastic crashed on me this morning after rebooting from a hibernate - the UI would not pop up on screen. So I resorted to killing the process in Task Manager. Now when I try to log in I see the following message: "User unknown S-1-5-21-2012184369-218517113-1170935872-16691" Pressing OK brings up a login, which no variation of my username and password seems to work for. Any ideas?
