    master branch name

Hello Is it possible to force GitServer to use exactly the same name of branch as in PlasticSCM? I have observation that right now /main (in fact we rename /main to /dev in our repositories so /dev) is always mapped as master in GitServer. Is it possible to have it seen as dev?
  2. Hi, I'm running Plastic SCM Cloud, 5.4.16.771 (Carry on my Wayward Son) on Windows 8.1. The installation proceeded fine, and I can use Plastic SCM up until the point where I wrote a 'gitserver.conf' to enable GitServer. I've placed in in directory 'C:\Program Files\PlasticSCM5\server'. When I restart the Plastic SCM service, it crashes after a second or so. This is repeatable each time, and is not affected by the contents of the 'gitserver.conf' file. Looking at the Windows event log, I see the following stack trace from the server's last error log entry:- Service cannot be started. System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Codice.CM.Server.SystemRunner.b() at Codice.CM.Server.SystemRunner.Init(Boolean bInitInSeparateThread) at Codice.CM.Daemon.PlasticService.OnStart(String[] args) at System.ServiceProcess.ServiceBase.ServiceQueuedMainCallback(Object state) Looking at the log in 'plastic.debug.log.txt'. Any chance of a quick fix or workaround? - I want to show some work to the customer who uses Git this week, so it would be very much appreciated. Regards, Gerard
  3. I tried GitServer today and added a gitserver.conf file to my PlasticSCM server installation: ------------------------- tcp.port=9418 export.repo=my_repo storage.baseDirectory=D:\gitserver\mappings mapping.interval=30 ------------------------- I am able to clone the repository by using git clone but I just see 1/10 of my changesets. Currently I have 1000+ changesets in my repo but if I clone it by using git I just get the first ~100 changeset which are almost 2 years old. Any ideas? The reason why I am trying GitServer is to enable Atlassian Crucible to read my branches. As described at https://plasticscm.uservoice.com/forums/15467-general/suggestions/7015573-crucible-plugin-should-support-branch-reviews Cheers, Michael
  4. So, the Plastic plugin for TeamCity doesn't seem to support feature branches. I did come across this, but doesn't look like there's been much progress... https://plasticscm.uservoice.com/forums/15467-general/suggestions/6087535-teamcity-plugin-and-feature-branches I was hoping GitServer would be the solution to all of my problems, but it doesn't really. Because GitServer flattens out the branch names (i.e. /main/feature123/task456 becomes /main-feature123-task456) and the git provider in TeamCity only allows a single wildcard in the branch specification, I can't seem to filter out the branches I'm interested in. For example, if I want my TC server to build only the feature branches, I can't select only the feature-level branches with a single wildcard. Has anyone had any success working with feature branches inTeamCity, or are there other CI servers that offer better Plastic integration?
